Savory Sweet Potato & Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bruce’s Cut Yams, drained and cubed (29 oz)
  • 1 lb sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 4 cups cubed bread (day-old preferred)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until sausage is browned; drain any excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine sausage mixture with bread cubes and Bruce’s Cut Yams.
  • Add chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until evenly coated and moistened.
  • Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until golden on top and heated through.
